Curriculum

Language, math, motor skills, and environmental issues are seamlessly incorporated with Jewish concepts and some measure of the reality of life in an Israel classroom as we pursue the goal of giving the children a balanced and well-rounded education.
In order to achieve these goals, our integrated curriculum, provides the children with the opportunity to discover the world of learning through play and hands on exploration of the many learning materials we expose them to.

The children engage daily in sensory experiences in which they manipulate sand, water, bird seeds, play-dough, shaving cream etc.

This activities provide the opportunity to learn and expand their usage of new words, enhance their ability to interact constructively with their friends, learn how to take turns and share, while they get a soothing sensation by handling these various mediums.

Through art exploration the children experiment with new materials, interact creatively with their peers, and learn how to listen to and follow spoken directions.

Fine and gross motor activities provide the children with the opportunity to develop muscle strength, as well as a variety of problem solving skills, cognitive growth, and language acquisition.

Math, language arts, and science are all cognitive areas of development through which the children enhance their receptive and expressive language, reasoning skills, one-on-one correspondence, and exploration and familiarization with the world around them.
